The latest AIP software version offers a number of innovations as well as improvements regarding operation and usage.
Server redundancy
Automatic failover and configuration synchronisation.
Redundancy agents
A redundant agent can be defined for an agent, of which the event configuration and alarm deactivations are adopted.
Web-API alarming
Using HTTP(S), alarms (come, gone, acknowledged) can be transferred to the AIP system.
OPC UA AC agent
The OPC UA AC agent supports OPC UA AC servers that do not provide server-side alarm filters.
File agent
The event text for file agent events is configurable.
The file agent supports the UTC time format.
AIP Messenger
AIP Messenger (Windows) displays URLs contained in the event text as a clickable link.

AIP version 4.2 is approved for Microsoft Windows 10 (Version 1803).
